Goldman Sachs vs credit union

Goldman Sachs have started the bank wars of new York. Their actions in the banking world will show that they are not only depending on the police and the politicians but will get their hands dirty in this war. After all they are fighting for their life because if there is a call to move money from the bank to the credit union in enough volumes we will see if they are too big to fail or if we have a role reversal.

Denver riot police attack

The riot police of Denver attacked the peaceful OWS with violent "non lethal" weapons. There is no need for warning shots since this is a war and the US mainland is the war zone. Ask the UN to drop bombs on Oakland and Denver to protect innocent civilians from government violence. Let them also charge Obama with war crimes against civilians and issue a warrant for the Hague. While they are at it they should issue a shoot to kill order just like in Libya. Civilians need UN protection.

Police solidarity with corruption

In new York for the second time corruption charges are brought against police officers and 100 off duty officers came to court in solidarity with the accused officers. Either they expect police officers are above the law or they are protesting their own forthcoming corruption cases. On face value the off duty officers are either corrupt or stupid but there are probably some philosophical and logical reasons why a set of corrupt officers can automatically have the support of their peers as if it is wrong to prosecute corruption by police. Seems the wall street mentality runs deep. Nobody has the right to accuse the corrupt of corruption. It is in their very nature. Only innocent civilians deserve to be charged under their set of laws. After all congress passes their own immunity from their own laws. Why can wall street corruption not pay for their own immunity. Surely the police must have immunity from criminal activity. After all US soldiers should have immunity in Iraq and Afganistan. And American Presidents are immune from war crimes, lying to congress and the american people, or breaking international treaties. Laws are for fools. Not for those who have power and powerful friends. When will we learn that those in power can do no wrong and those who have no power can have no justice?

South African Apartheid Ethics

The current public OWS movement reminds me of the anti-apartheid struggle. We had a morally corrupt government, it's greedy opportunistic capitalists who wanted and received every government favor as if they were socialists, espousing a morally bankrupt code of behaviors supported by an overwhelming majority of ordinary white citizens that make no logic or humane sense at all.
Now this is the interesting observation. The corrupt system will fall to heroes who are ordinary folk doing the right thing for humanity and then all the republicans, democrats, and greedy capitalists will claim that they in their Christian piety created the new order of ethical equity. The lesson is that when all the evil perpetuated by the current powers of society have been defeated it is essentially these corrupt individuals who opposed change with every ounce of their being who will claim that they defeated the unknown immoral social forces of evil. They will continue in power under that new delusion until they are once again unmasked by the next generation. Today in South Africa it is difficult to find a racist yet the racists held overwhelming majorities in elections for decades. They have suddenly disappeared and morphed into liberals who claim anti apartheid sympathies as if they never supported overt or covert racism in their lives.
I suspect that one day all the corrupt politicians will claim that they were mingling with OWS from the start. Come to think of it this is a repeat of Vietnam.

Bought and paid government

It is interesting from a playwright perspective to watch how a bought and paid for government operates. It is increasingly obvious that the government is of one mind to serve the interest of their masters who bought and paid for their elections. But they from time to time must put up a charade that they care for the interests of the rest of the population. They know a population does not have a brain or a memory or any attributes that individuals have. All they have to do is destroy any individual opposition through a drone strike or a smear campaign.
This is how it works. The boss tells it how it should be. The democrats, the republicans, and the president are given their roles to play. Each must increase the drama intensity on the daily news until the 11th hour. Then as I have predicted pretty consistently the republican plan is set in motion. For the sake of good governance dems have been acting as green or yellow republicans pretty consistently and so has Obama. So for me there is no drama to the congressional negotiations. How can congress behave any different from its very nature?

OWS need to run

OWS need a run strategy. Wall street is not listening. They are sending orders to their politicians who are sending orders to their police. OWS need to send orders to its rank and file. A simple bank run will bankrupt a bank. Moving money from one bank to a credit union is a start. Moving money from wall street to a mattress will bankrupt wall street. Targeting one sector or one violator will send a message that even the mightiest is vulnerable. Wall street and it's 1% are like a bully. They need their buddies to misbehave with them. Once a few bullies fall their buddies will start behaving like they support the majority. While the 1% have power and have buddies they are comfortable in their 1% status. The politicians are the same. Filling the senate with 50 independents will send a strong message. OWS, wake up, strategize, organize.

Oakland war zone victim update

Scott Olsen, the marine and first casualty of the OWS movement regained consciousness but cannot talk. It is believed that the injury damaged the speech center of his brain.

Oakland war zone

OWS has spread and escalated into an Oakland confrontation with tar gas and rubber bullets. The opposing forces are a civilian citizen force of nonviolent protesters who want justice and free speech and a violent police and riot squad who are protecting wall street and public spaces from the onslaught of free speech and justice. Each news or media outlet will interpret this civil war as one with god on their side. If the news source is a wall street news source they will uphold the law and crush free speech, justice, and citizens rights. If the news source is a citizen funded group they will call for citizens to change injustice into justice through nonviolent free speech campaigns.
The civil war will now enter the uncivil phase. Will it become uncivilized too?

Chicago arrests

Occupy Chicago people are being arrested for trespassing. They overstayed the public hours of the park. After dark the park belongs to private interests such as wall street government paid supporters and is not available to the public. The police came in with horses and barricades and arrested all their transportation could hold. Others shouted "Arrest me!". Evidently the police must have arrested their quota for the night. Wall street Protestors will clog the legal system. There is no justice system since peaceful unarmed citizens are arrested but armed tea party protesters who want wall street to own the world are not arrested. The right to bear arms takes precedence over free speech. The right to support wall street takes precedence over the right to criticize wall street. The government has figured out that speech is more dangerous to the government, wall street, and the justice system than guns and bullets.
It is extremely obvious that the police are here to protect and serve the interests of the elite in wall street against the criticism of we the people. Over the next few weeks more people will wake up to this injustice which is a perversion of the legal system. Of course those who support this injustice will continue to act as apologists. Mass Movements are never embraced without struggle. Even Martin Luther King Junior did not receive widespread clergy support in his lifetime. So the OWS movement should not expect the ordinary citizen to support the movement even after the movement creates justice for all because the propaganda, the education system, and the socialization of people are formidable chains on their brains.

Public parks arrests

Protesters in Chicago are being arrested for trespassing if they occupy private spaces and they are arrested for curfew violations if they occupy public spaces. The corporations and the government ensure that protesters of their policies and management do not have any spaces to occupy. As George bush started a policy of providing free speech zones far from public spaces and earshot so the new big brothers are ensuring that civilians can only exercise their free speech in their own kitchens and dining rooms. Soon we will have an elite 1% population that run the world and the rest of the 99% can be in their caves, in their graves, or in their jails.

Bank robbery statute of limitations is two months

Today I closed my Chase bank account. I was with them for 20 years. I closed my account years ago because they started charging me a fee. One day they invited me back and I explained my past experience. They promised me a free checking account. So I opened the account. A few months ago I noticed I was being charged a fee. So I pointed out that they had offered me a free checking account and then started charging me a fee. I explained that I felt like they had stolen my money and when I pointed out their mistake they offered some of the money back but they felt because I did not report the previous crime early enough. They reversed only two charges. They must've felt the statute of limitations of bank fraud by the bank is two months. I think bank robbers should have the same statute of limitations then criminals will at least feel they are being treated fairly. Anyway I am glad my own actions coincided with millions of others who are closing their bank accounts.

OWS Actions and reactions

The Occupy Wall Street. (OWS) movement is generating actions and reactions. The actions are spreading the movement internationally and making their message clear and pointedly against banks, their fees, and corporate greed. Two action items are to sign petitions and to close bank accounts and transfer money to credit unions.
The corporate reactions are to use the police and all news channels like fox news that interviews suits who connect ows with al Qaeda as anti capitalist. If they could they might get Obama to list ows as a terrorist organization and 99% of the US population as enemy civilian combatants so they can bomb those occupied cities back to the stone age.

MLK and Wall Street

It is fitting that while the Martin Luther King memorial is dedicated Wall Street is facing a classic confrontation between nonviolence and violence. King taught and advocated nonviolent resistance against the authoritarian violence of police with dogs and water-hoses. Today the police are doing what they always do - protect and serve the establishment, even when they are patently unjust. Can we wonder why German soldiers served Hitler? can we wonder why police served the South African apartheid government? Can we wonder why police in America set dogs on innocent civilians? Can we wonder why police are pepper spraying nonviolent protesters in New York in 2011? Weren't the US authorities vocally defending the right of nonviolent protesters in Egypt and even violent dissidents in Libya? Why are US authorities meting out the same medicine to it's civilian population? As the world population of civilian protests expand to Europe and Japan so will the pressure on all authorities who are using violence against nonviolence. Of course, the authorities are bankrupt with ideas to solve problems. Their only solution is violence. While MLK provides us with a taste of Gandhi's nonviolence. It is a pity Barack Obama never learned that lesson.

Where is the occupy wall street plan or blueprint?

Right now if not sooner there needs to be a plan or blueprint for occupy wall street. People all over the world are signing on and putting their bodies on the line. They have a slogan. They have the fire of desire to get up and do something. Radicals and activists are comfortable to do what they have been doing for years but to grow a movement requires new blood, education, and discipline. Martin Luther King held nonviolent workshops before he led marches. While some regular protesters can improvise, the rank and file require a playbook with rules and guidance. The opposition have playbooks called history texts and they have police, army, and thinktanks with all the political, legislative, and judicial power behind them. Not even mentioning the money and resources unlimited money can buy. The wall street confrontation is the test of whether corporate humans can outthink and outmaneuver real human brainpower and creativity.

Arguments back and forth

As the wall street movement goes global people are chanting "We are the 99%" What movements need are simple slogans that resonate and they have it now. The target of the protests are the one percent which in reality is .1 percent but who does math anyway. The spaces they have identified to protest are outside banks. Banks are easily identified because they are the bastions of the financial system, created investment instruments that caused the financial collapse, and after being bailed out they celebrated by taking huge bonuses and giving no relief to homeowners whom they are foreclosing as usual. So they can be demonized through slogans for arrogance and continued insensitivity.
One would think they have no defenders or their defenders come from the .1% itself but as usual their defenders come from all kinds of powerful quarters. First they can buy support if they choose. Second politicians are their defenders already bought and paid for and third the whole system of police and crime and punishment as in the total legal system was designed to support the .1%.
The defenders point out that most of the people working in banks earn less than $70000 a year. So protesters must not protest outside banks. They want to give the owners the protection of the serfs from the serfs.
They also point out that a protest against a bank is a protest against capitalism so the protesters must be communists. Another fear tactic of the Glen Beck ilk.
Of course the biggest protectors of the banks are the police and when they cannot arrest everyone they bring in the swat and riot control divisions and if they cannot silence the voice of the people they will bring in the national guard and the army. The .1% has the full 100% of the social structure supporting it's ideas and it's greed. The 99% were asleep while the social control structures were being set in place except maybe for the Oscar Wildes so they have a long haul ahead of them. Everyone in the world who has a job must be praying that the 99 percent will just go back to their homeless and hopeless roles of poverty designated to the lazy jobless ones in western social structures and leave the banks alone.

Action time for wall street

The escalation stage is reached in wall street action has started. The mayor tried to execute a clear the park order from wall street corporate bosses. The people resisted and have tasted victory. The next action is crucial. Whoever makes the next move controls the peaceful process. The protesters want negotiation since that is their forte while the authorities want violence because that is their forte.

Request UN support

The wall street movement should appeal to the UN under it's civilian protection plan. They should request that the UN impose a no fly zone over New York city and other cities in America where the authorities are suppressing free speech and citizen protests. The police have been violently attacking civilians and the UN should fund a French led coalition to stop the authoritarian brutality against it's civilian population. Maybe President Obama might not put any boots on the ground but finance the technology required to protect civilian lives from the violence of it's own government.

Wall street movement

The wall street protesters are calling themselves a movement. Take back wall street has spread to other cities like take back chicago. They realize they are steering a movement. But the have not yet called it a mass movement. They are in the negotiation phase. It would do them well to learn the course of a movement since movements do have characteristics. They are well advised to find strategists too. Trying to reach consensus in a society that has no clue about consensus and thrive on simple majority decisions need some educational leadership. The question that needs to be asked early on is do we want to allow events to unfold or do we want to control the unfolding events. The one needs a nurturing leadership while the other needs strategic leadership.

Masses on wall street

The masses are gathering on wall street. While the streets are looking more like the Arab spring is moving toward the united states fall the consciousness of the population is moving to comparing the Egyptian government to the united states government. Before it would be dismissed offhand that the us democratic system would be comparable to a dictatorship the consequences are very similar. The Egypt government disappointed young graduates in the jobmarket as does the us. The Egypt government shut down Facebook. Ditto us. Both arrested protectors. Both tried to ignore the protests. Both ran public campaigns to minimize protestors demands. Both governments had no answers. Both only had the military option in the end.
