NATO can kill with impunity

Now that the UN can punish governments who kill or might possibly kill their own citizens only NATO can kill with impunity as it has allegedly killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. Oligarchs of the world will now have to hire NATO instead the US military to do their bidding. This will have a negative impact on the US economy since it will have to share the spoils with NATO allies. Who would have imagined that terrorists targeting the world trade center could possibly bring down the western empire?

UN stop the violence

I think it would be cool if the UN slaps sanctions on the US for its violence against its citizens. France can lead a call for a No Fly zone over America too in case they use drones on the OWS. After all GW Bush initiated the concept of preemptive war so we might as well start a preemptive war against all countries that could possibly be a threat to its own unarmed nonviolent populations.

Naomi Wolf analysis

Naomi Wolf has written up her theory that the white house, and the Congress has authorized the Department of Homeland security to coordinate efforts with the mayors of cities to clamp down on the Occupy Wall Street movement with violence. This theory implies all kinds of lawbreaking and corruption in an Egypt like civil war scenario that will resonate with those disillusioned with the white house, and congress, suspicious of the DHS and the patriot act, and distrustful of mayors and police forces across the country. This kind of conspiracy theory will have long legs amongst a population who are suffering exploitation from corruption and can readily believe that the corrupt will resort to violence to protect themselves from any anti corruption citizenry movement.

Bush and Blair guilty of crimes against peace

Bush and Blair were found guilty of crimes against peace in a mock trial in Malaysia after a four-day hearing. Mock trials are one of Gene Sharp's 198 methods of nonviolent action.

Request national guard protection

The current situation is very much like that of the Eisenhower administration. We have a state and city government violating the rights of its citizens to protest peacefully. OWS should request Obama Administration protection to citizens rights of free speech and nonviolent protest. The violence of the city police is similar to the violation of local government barring students from entering schools. Students who have the right to enter a school building should have federal protection to exercise that right. Citizens who have a right to protected speech should have federal protection to exercise that right.
American citizens should set up a free speech camp and have federal troops surround them so they can occupy America. If we the people cannot occupy America then our very rights as US citizens have been violated and only the federal government can restore those rights. Refusal to protect US rights requires a removal of that government and may result in an appeal to the United Nations to declare America a no fly zone.

OWS strategies

It is obvious that OWS have devised a number of strategies to show their force. The preparations for suffering police brutality and arrest are all part of these strategies as well as providing the 1% the least opportunities to criticize and draw wedges in the movement. But now is the time to turn inward and to flex muscles that cannot be challenged by police as easily. No doubt the police will continue the war and in fact increase their inhumanity and brutality. Unions and past movements have turned inward to their muscle well. Two types of actions will soon appear. The first is active change on a personal level. Individuals can bring down a sector by using another. Or by changing lifestyle. Bus boycotts worked effectively by walking greater distances, getting up early and returning later with the satisfaction that personal willpower has an economic effect. Moving money from banks to credit unions is such an OWS tactic. Once thousands of accounts move it will have an impact. Changing consumer habits to replace one item on the diet will have such an impact. Choosing strategic 99% choices can change society. Police and FBI agents will always harass but they cannot win against 99% solidarity. The tactics are endless but the pointedness is the icing on the cake. All the strategic thinkers have to do is decide who is responsible and how an act can show up that responsibility as clear as day. Then they can invent a new activity or pastime that people will enjoy. Have people do the activity openly like wearing a ribbon and engage happily in support of a simple goal and the wheels will be set in motion. The mechanism will be invisible but the pointedness will become apparent and will bring results which will provide confidence for more pointed recreational activities that produce results.

Giving up humanity

An 84 year old woman, Dorli Rainey was doused with pepper spray by police. Jennifer who was two months pregnant suffered the same treatment. These are the inhumane incidents of war by police on unarmed civilians peacefully asserting their rights. The police may claim they are a public danger but they can only convince their superiors and those who have lost their humanity. They can spin that their public protection or public safety from the nonviolent public for only so many years before the inhumanity of their behavior will shine through. Police are the public enemy. Police are the protectors of the privileged few. Police have lost touch of their founding principles of protecting and serving the public good. They are protecting and serving the corruption and injustices perpetuated upon the public. In order to do this they sacrifice their humanity.

The simplicity of evil

The simplicity of evil is so self-evident when you see it you must wonder why nobody else sees it. The latest photo shows a police officer nonchalantly using pepper spray on a group of students sitting with arms interlocked on the university of California, Davis campus. Can nobody see the evil of nonchalant violence on peaceful students? Or are we so numbed by police violence that we provide them the carte Blanche authority to do what they please in defense of law and order, security and oppression.
Evil must be in the eye of the beholder because not too many people see the US as a police state. However, not too many can see a child molester as a child molester either if he is a respected coach. Our society sees "greed as good" and "good as evil" so what does it take for one person to see the simplicity of evil? Most of the citizenry are so dehumanized that they see dehumanizing acts as normal behavior. The hope of future generations lie with the few who can see the simplicity of evil.

NY is a militarized zone

New York is now officially a militarized zone. The police or paramilitary police deployed the LRAD sound cannon, the latest in weaponry against peaceful protest. Manufactured in the US and sold to the Israeli Defense Force, tested in the Palestinian village of Beit Ummar, it is portable and transmits 140 decibels of sound. 85 dB can damage hearing so this is an assault weapon that can leave innocent civilians maimed. For some reason the US military have no concern for collateral damage and when they claim that their weapons only harm enemy combatants somehow the citizenry believe that to be true. Maybe wall street bankers will happily suffer hearing loss so they really cannot hear about injustice. The most ironic point about this weapon is that it will harm the police officers too. After all they too are dispensable casualties of friendly fire. This war like every other pits the 99% against the 99% at the behest of the 1%.

Police Captain Ray Lewis arrested

Police Captain Ray Lewis was arrested in uniform and said, "All the cops are just workers for the one percent, and they don't even realize they're being exploited."

Strategies and circumstances

Predicting is not easy because of the number of factors involved in any event. However, predicting is possible considering some major factors. Two such factors are strategies and circumstances. Both sides of a conflict are strategizing. The OWS leadership must be considering actions to highlight their major concerns while the police and the government, including the army, must be considering how they can contain or destroy the movement. Containment might include infiltration and banishment. Waiting them out is not an option because the injustice will not disappear and the politicians won't address them. Circumstances will certainly change. Infiltrations and provocation will eventually be uncovered and people will change positions which will affect the outcomes.

Movements grow through opposition

Mass movements can only grow through direct public opposition. The more the police take to the streets to arrest citizens exercising their democratic rights the more the movement will grow. When injustice is ingrained through institutions then the only option for those institutions is force and violence to maintain their power. These actions are exactly what grows a movement.

OWS anniversary - riot police v. Civilians

This is the two month anniversary of OWS and the image is of riot police with face masks and outnumbering protestors asserting their strength in numbers and in violence. This is the language police have learned. They have lost touch with their civilian selves and have become dehumanized by the institutions they serve believing they are asserting law and order against the civilians who are the law and order citizens of the US. The police have bought into the idea that the country belongs to its institutions and the role of humans must be subjugated to the will of these institutions. The institutions have the shroud of law and order worn like a wolf in sheep's clothing trampling on the constitution and the citizens whom the institutions are supposed to serve. We live in a robotic world where the robot like institutions created to serve the citizens are firmly in control because these robotic institutions have been able to promote some people to gatekeeping positions and dehumanized them enough to become more like the robotic institutions than like the human flesh and bones they were born to be. I think every police officer will realize they will lose their onslaught against democratic peaceful expressions but they will go to the grave in denial believing they were doing what was right and proper and even Christian in their violence. Those police who set dogs on civil rights protestors of the sixties can only maintain their sanity by this illusion. They could not possibly come to terms with the fact that their actions were wrong or even evil in terms of its inhumanity and it's dehumanizing purposes. Today the cycle continues. Any institution can find those people who will dehumanize others with impunity. The purpose of mass movements is to humanize nonviolently even those who oppose.

Middle class lessons

Middle class are learning what oppressed people all over the world has known for generations. The political structure, the economic structure, the army, the police and every infrastructure is there to support the oligarchy of power. It is not there to serve the people but to serve the privileged few. The cycle is complete. Anybody who stands for justice just like Gandhi and king will be arrested and fined and the money to support their oppression will come from the oppressed tax payers. The middle class has funded this all the time but now the middle class are victims of their own systems so they are split between those who have and those who have not. Those who have a job. Those who have a house. Those who have a stake and those who have not. Those who have a hope and those who have not. It is the middle class police beating their own brothers and cousins who do not have a job. The workers are defending their sick system from these who are dispensable. Until more become dispensable. Soon the police who are unemployed will join the ranks of the OWS. Syria is seeing this very defection occurring. Syrian army are divided between supporting the government system or the opposition. One day American police officers will have to choose between defending an unjust system or defending the rights of American civilians. And no amount of rhetoric from politicians can hide these facts.

People or structures - which do you serve?

People or profits? People or things? People or power? People or structures? People or buildings? These have been choices of those who perform public service. The politician, the business person, the policeman, the soldier. Each is a person who serves and each must choose on a daily basis. Regularly each chooses to say one thing and do another. Police say they serve and protect people but they are really serving and protecting property. It's not too much of a conflict until the object of their violence becomes the subject of their purpose. Then the conflict is stark reality. But the years of saying one thing and doing another kicks in and the pattern rules supreme while the justifications kick in to cover the stark reality. Soldiers do not fight for anyone's freedom. They fight for everyone's oppression. They fight for their superiors' status quo. They are the hero when the powers deem it appropriate and they are the villains when the same power deems it appropriate. Have western powers who espouse individuality and capitalism ever thought it necessary to take care of soldiers after they are done soldiering? They may claim it and proclaim it but the reality is that more and more soldiers end up in poor houses, homelessness, and in paupers graves than in national cemeteries. Soldiers are dressed up and paraded off to war but must scrape and crawl coming back. Soldier, do you fight for the freedom of citizens to raise their voices for justice or do you serve the structures of injustice, in support of maintaining injustice for a little while longer? Because, like all unjust wars it cannot be won. Justice cannot be conquered, it can only be delayed. The voice of the people can be jailed and buried but it will never be silenced.

Raid on liberty park

The police took over liberty park. The war is clearly on. The police and the powers know about staking claims on property and real estate. But the movement is not diminished because the people own all the property and the war is not about which park is controlled by which force. The police and politicians only know violence and ownership. They do not know how to stop a movement. They don't yet know how to control people's wills. They can manage bodies in jails but they cannot manage wills. This is classic war of violence against nonviolence, property against principle. All the efforts are in vain. They just delay the inevitable justice that will ensue. Those politicians and these police will not know the shame of their actions because they will rewrite history to show how they spearheaded the moral victory that is sure to rain upon new York. They will write in the history books how they pursued justice while the rabble rousers they arrested tried to stand in the way of progress. But the people will know how the police and politicians were on the wrong side of history as they always are while those who bled in liberty park will be remembered for their sacrifice for justice. As I said before "Power cannot defeat justice."

Harassing phone calls

Banks are pulling out all the stops in this war of attrition. They must've made some strategic decisions based on their human relations research. They must know that people react in certain ways to harassing phone calls. Anyway the banks have been robo calling me. They want to inform me they have special deals, they want to inform me the bill payment date is coming up, they want to inform me how much I owe. Constantly. When I try to talk to a human I am given a number to call during weekday business hours while these robo calls are every 4 hours over the weekend. They are probably within the law but they must be playing a psychological war game of wearing down resistance or something like that.
Maybe they know that any name recognition is good whatever the reason. Humans are probably drawn to the bank that calls them the most. As in the case of celebrities, good publicity or bad publicity both provide the same name recognition. Of course since I am not an automaton I will clear my accounts and change my number but I am sure they will spend their billions to find my new number and harass me some more. This is the battlefield of wall street.

Concealed weapons

In Wisconsin on Nov. 2, 18 people were arrested for using cameras in the Wisconsin Assembly gallery. The event called concealed camera day coincided with the implementation of Wisconsin's new concealed carry law that allows residents to carry concealed firearms in even the Assembly gallery.
This is what the current war is about. Lethal weapons are legalized and transparency is illegalized. The authorities want to hide what they are doing from public view but encourage violence to defend the corruption. This is gearing up to be a violent war against nonviolence. It is a well armed law of injustice against unarmed justice. So what is new? People are waking up is what's new.

Good and evil

Today we have reached a confrontation that cannot be denied between good and evil. The powerful elite is as evil as any ancient powerful and corrupt elite. God has hardened Pharaohs heart. So that Moses can confront the issue of the day. We are today confronted with good and evil in pristine form. The government and it's wall street allies are as evil as can be. They follow policies of injustice. They have proudly assassinating whoever they wish in the name of the people and the people reveled when they should have rebelled. Wall street forecloses heartlessly. And the people stand by helplessly. The law is on the side of evil. Their god is on the side of evil. Never has god been invoked to support more evil than now. There is only one outcome. All the people can bow down to this evil and corruption and one day claim total ignorance. Or the people can bow down and claim they trusted. Or the people can bow down and claim they followed orders. Or as Gandhi, Mandela, and king has showed the people can refuse to bow down to tyranny. Now is the time to choose. Are you for people or for profits? Or are you a prophet?

Too big to fail, too big to jail

Yes, the western democratic economic system has finally been unveiled. We have been fooled into believing we do not have kings and lords, that we do not have a feudal system, a monarchy, or a dictatorship. But we have all of them in a new moneyed system. Some might say its an oligarchy of the rich. Call it a capitalist class system. Call it a competitive system where there are winners and losers. The inequity we can all see and are forced to accept is much like the untouchables of India have had to accept their lot for generations. Humans can accept dehumanizing treatment for only so long before a consciousness must set in. The current political and economic system is being laid bare for all who want to see. It is obvious to anyone that the public airwaves are filled with nonsense. Nonsense is all public officials and pundits have when the system they all believe in and cling to makes no more sense. It can only be defended and promulgated through nonsense. While people are confused by the nonsense the inequity and injustice goes on as business as usual.

Demonizing civilians

In order to foster violence against protesters the civilians must first be demonized. This began when the OWS was referred to as a mob. A mob is not a civilian term. It's a demonizing term. It is setting up the stage for violence. What is a response to a mob? Violence. You cannot expect the same dehumanizing treatment from a group of congressional lobbyists. Lobbyists are respected. They are not demonized. They are respected by the public media. Mobs are demonized and dehumanized. Police action. Arrests. And violence will follow as acceptable responses to a mob. A veteran in an army is a revered and respected individual but a veteran in a mob is just a dehumanized demon worthy of state violence.

Foot soldiers and obeying orders

There are a number of views about soldiers accountability and responsibility for their actions in war or under orders. Generally it is held that the war is decided at a higher rank and orders are given to be followed and not questioned. Soldiers are mere executioners who are automatons in the machinery of power with no ability to judge, question, or refuse any order. But it is the soldier who commits the atrocity at hand. The soldier kills. The soldier burns. The soldier destroys. The soldier dehumanizes. Soldiers have also been found liable. Soldiers have also been decorated in spite of not obeying orders.
Soldiers are pawns. But in reality the soldier is a human being with judgement and a conscience. And a soldier must act as a human being. If the police of the cities of the USA think of themselves as automaton soldiers following orders with no liability, accountability, or responsibility for the damage to civilian OWS protesters and no commitment to serve and protect civilians peaceful right of free expression and nonviolent protest then we are in a state of anarchy and dehumanization that is comparable to Syria, Egypt, Libya, and absolutely reflective of the worst of Vietnam and Nazi Germany. The stakes are the same. The price of blindly following orders is the same. The cost is our humanity. Are the soldiers and the police of the United States prepared to stand on the wrong side of humanity because it is a tradition that they serve government's and corporations and not civilians?

Bank of America blinked

Today BoA blinked. They announced they are no longer charging a $5.00 fee for debit card transactions. Too little too late. The OWS movement has requested people transfer from banks to credit unions by Nov 5, 2011. That campaign will continue since one act does not build trust. Even TV commentators who are no friend of OWS are warning consumers to watch their bills carefully for hidden fees that banks may add to make up for the ones they are pressured to cancel. The first volley has been fired. The violence of the mayors and their police has been countered by the mobilization of peaceful protest strategies. The Wall Street dominions have acted against the protestors and the protestors and their allies have reacted.

Goldman Sachs vs credit union

Goldman Sachs have started the bank wars of new York. Their actions in the banking world will show that they are not only depending on the police and the politicians but will get their hands dirty in this war. After all they are fighting for their life because if there is a call to move money from the bank to the credit union in enough volumes we will see if they are too big to fail or if we have a role reversal.

Denver riot police attack

The riot police of Denver attacked the peaceful OWS with violent "non lethal" weapons. There is no need for warning shots since this is a war and the US mainland is the war zone. Ask the UN to drop bombs on Oakland and Denver to protect innocent civilians from government violence. Let them also charge Obama with war crimes against civilians and issue a warrant for the Hague. While they are at it they should issue a shoot to kill order just like in Libya. Civilians need UN protection.

Police solidarity with corruption

In new York for the second time corruption charges are brought against police officers and 100 off duty officers came to court in solidarity with the accused officers. Either they expect police officers are above the law or they are protesting their own forthcoming corruption cases. On face value the off duty officers are either corrupt or stupid but there are probably some philosophical and logical reasons why a set of corrupt officers can automatically have the support of their peers as if it is wrong to prosecute corruption by police. Seems the wall street mentality runs deep. Nobody has the right to accuse the corrupt of corruption. It is in their very nature. Only innocent civilians deserve to be charged under their set of laws. After all congress passes their own immunity from their own laws. Why can wall street corruption not pay for their own immunity. Surely the police must have immunity from criminal activity. After all US soldiers should have immunity in Iraq and Afganistan. And American Presidents are immune from war crimes, lying to congress and the american people, or breaking international treaties. Laws are for fools. Not for those who have power and powerful friends. When will we learn that those in power can do no wrong and those who have no power can have no justice?

South African Apartheid Ethics

The current public OWS movement reminds me of the anti-apartheid struggle. We had a morally corrupt government, it's greedy opportunistic capitalists who wanted and received every government favor as if they were socialists, espousing a morally bankrupt code of behaviors supported by an overwhelming majority of ordinary white citizens that make no logic or humane sense at all.
Now this is the interesting observation. The corrupt system will fall to heroes who are ordinary folk doing the right thing for humanity and then all the republicans, democrats, and greedy capitalists will claim that they in their Christian piety created the new order of ethical equity. The lesson is that when all the evil perpetuated by the current powers of society have been defeated it is essentially these corrupt individuals who opposed change with every ounce of their being who will claim that they defeated the unknown immoral social forces of evil. They will continue in power under that new delusion until they are once again unmasked by the next generation. Today in South Africa it is difficult to find a racist yet the racists held overwhelming majorities in elections for decades. They have suddenly disappeared and morphed into liberals who claim anti apartheid sympathies as if they never supported overt or covert racism in their lives.
I suspect that one day all the corrupt politicians will claim that they were mingling with OWS from the start. Come to think of it this is a repeat of Vietnam.

Bought and paid government

It is interesting from a playwright perspective to watch how a bought and paid for government operates. It is increasingly obvious that the government is of one mind to serve the interest of their masters who bought and paid for their elections. But they from time to time must put up a charade that they care for the interests of the rest of the population. They know a population does not have a brain or a memory or any attributes that individuals have. All they have to do is destroy any individual opposition through a drone strike or a smear campaign.
This is how it works. The boss tells it how it should be. The democrats, the republicans, and the president are given their roles to play. Each must increase the drama intensity on the daily news until the 11th hour. Then as I have predicted pretty consistently the republican plan is set in motion. For the sake of good governance dems have been acting as green or yellow republicans pretty consistently and so has Obama. So for me there is no drama to the congressional negotiations. How can congress behave any different from its very nature?

OWS need to run

OWS need a run strategy. Wall street is not listening. They are sending orders to their politicians who are sending orders to their police. OWS need to send orders to its rank and file. A simple bank run will bankrupt a bank. Moving money from one bank to a credit union is a start. Moving money from wall street to a mattress will bankrupt wall street. Targeting one sector or one violator will send a message that even the mightiest is vulnerable. Wall street and it's 1% are like a bully. They need their buddies to misbehave with them. Once a few bullies fall their buddies will start behaving like they support the majority. While the 1% have power and have buddies they are comfortable in their 1% status. The politicians are the same. Filling the senate with 50 independents will send a strong message. OWS, wake up, strategize, organize.

Oakland war zone victim update

Scott Olsen, the marine and first casualty of the OWS movement regained consciousness but cannot talk. It is believed that the injury damaged the speech center of his brain.

Tuesday, October 25, 2011

Oakland war zone

OWS has spread and escalated into an Oakland confrontation with tar gas and rubber bullets. The opposing forces are a civilian citizen force of nonviolent protesters who want justice and free speech and a violent police and riot squad who are protecting wall street and public spaces from the onslaught of free speech and justice. Each news or media outlet will interpret this civil war as one with god on their side. If the news source is a wall street news source they will uphold the law and crush free speech, justice, and citizens rights. If the news source is a citizen funded group they will call for citizens to change injustice into justice through nonviolent free speech campaigns.
The civil war will now enter the uncivil phase. Will it become uncivilized too?

Chicago arrests

Occupy Chicago people are being arrested for trespassing. They overstayed the public hours of the park. After dark the park belongs to private interests such as wall street government paid supporters and is not available to the public. The police came in with horses and barricades and arrested all their transportation could hold. Others shouted "Arrest me!". Evidently the police must have arrested their quota for the night. Wall street Protestors will clog the legal system. There is no justice system since peaceful unarmed citizens are arrested but armed tea party protesters who want wall street to own the world are not arrested. The right to bear arms takes precedence over free speech. The right to support wall street takes precedence over the right to criticize wall street. The government has figured out that speech is more dangerous to the government, wall street, and the justice system than guns and bullets.
It is extremely obvious that the police are here to protect and serve the interests of the elite in wall street against the criticism of we the people. Over the next few weeks more people will wake up to this injustice which is a perversion of the legal system. Of course those who support this injustice will continue to act as apologists. Mass Movements are never embraced without struggle. Even Martin Luther King Junior did not receive widespread clergy support in his lifetime. So the OWS movement should not expect the ordinary citizen to support the movement even after the movement creates justice for all because the propaganda, the education system, and the socialization of people are formidable chains on their brains.

Public parks arrests

Protesters in Chicago are being arrested for trespassing if they occupy private spaces and they are arrested for curfew violations if they occupy public spaces. The corporations and the government ensure that protesters of their policies and management do not have any spaces to occupy. As George bush started a policy of providing free speech zones far from public spaces and earshot so the new big brothers are ensuring that civilians can only exercise their free speech in their own kitchens and dining rooms. Soon we will have an elite 1% population that run the world and the rest of the 99% can be in their caves, in their graves, or in their jails.

Bank robbery statute of limitations is two months

Today I closed my Chase bank account. I was with them for 20 years. I closed my account years ago because they started charging me a fee. One day they invited me back and I explained my past experience. They promised me a free checking account. So I opened the account. A few months ago I noticed I was being charged a fee. So I pointed out that they had offered me a free checking account and then started charging me a fee. I explained that I felt like they had stolen my money and when I pointed out their mistake they offered some of the money back but they felt because I did not report the previous crime early enough. They reversed only two charges. They must've felt the statute of limitations of bank fraud by the bank is two months. I think bank robbers should have the same statute of limitations then criminals will at least feel they are being treated fairly. Anyway I am glad my own actions coincided with millions of others who are closing their bank accounts.

OWS Actions and reactions

The Occupy Wall Street. (OWS) movement is generating actions and reactions. The actions are spreading the movement internationally and making their message clear and pointedly against banks, their fees, and corporate greed. Two action items are to sign petitions and to close bank accounts and transfer money to credit unions.
The corporate reactions are to use the police and all news channels like fox news that interviews suits who connect ows with al Qaeda as anti capitalist. If they could they might get Obama to list ows as a terrorist organization and 99% of the US population as enemy civilian combatants so they can bomb those occupied cities back to the stone age.

MLK and Wall Street

It is fitting that while the Martin Luther King memorial is dedicated Wall Street is facing a classic confrontation between nonviolence and violence. King taught and advocated nonviolent resistance against the authoritarian violence of police with dogs and water-hoses. Today the police are doing what they always do - protect and serve the establishment, even when they are patently unjust. Can we wonder why German soldiers served Hitler? can we wonder why police served the South African apartheid government? Can we wonder why police in America set dogs on innocent civilians? Can we wonder why police are pepper spraying nonviolent protesters in New York in 2011? Weren't the US authorities vocally defending the right of nonviolent protesters in Egypt and even violent dissidents in Libya? Why are US authorities meting out the same medicine to it's civilian population? As the world population of civilian protests expand to Europe and Japan so will the pressure on all authorities who are using violence against nonviolence. Of course, the authorities are bankrupt with ideas to solve problems. Their only solution is violence. While MLK provides us with a taste of Gandhi's nonviolence. It is a pity Barack Obama never learned that lesson.

Where is the occupy wall street plan or blueprint?

Right now if not sooner there needs to be a plan or blueprint for occupy wall street. People all over the world are signing on and putting their bodies on the line. They have a slogan. They have the fire of desire to get up and do something. Radicals and activists are comfortable to do what they have been doing for years but to grow a movement requires new blood, education, and discipline. Martin Luther King held nonviolent workshops before he led marches. While some regular protesters can improvise, the rank and file require a playbook with rules and guidance. The opposition have playbooks called history texts and they have police, army, and thinktanks with all the political, legislative, and judicial power behind them. Not even mentioning the money and resources unlimited money can buy. The wall street confrontation is the test of whether corporate humans can outthink and outmaneuver real human brainpower and creativity.

Arguments back and forth

As the wall street movement goes global people are chanting "We are the 99%" What movements need are simple slogans that resonate and they have it now. The target of the protests are the one percent which in reality is .1 percent but who does math anyway. The spaces they have identified to protest are outside banks. Banks are easily identified because they are the bastions of the financial system, created investment instruments that caused the financial collapse, and after being bailed out they celebrated by taking huge bonuses and giving no relief to homeowners whom they are foreclosing as usual. So they can be demonized through slogans for arrogance and continued insensitivity.
One would think they have no defenders or their defenders come from the .1% itself but as usual their defenders come from all kinds of powerful quarters. First they can buy support if they choose. Second politicians are their defenders already bought and paid for and third the whole system of police and crime and punishment as in the total legal system was designed to support the .1%.
The defenders point out that most of the people working in banks earn less than $70000 a year. So protesters must not protest outside banks. They want to give the owners the protection of the serfs from the serfs.
They also point out that a protest against a bank is a protest against capitalism so the protesters must be communists. Another fear tactic of the Glen Beck ilk.
Of course the biggest protectors of the banks are the police and when they cannot arrest everyone they bring in the swat and riot control divisions and if they cannot silence the voice of the people they will bring in the national guard and the army. The .1% has the full 100% of the social structure supporting it's ideas and it's greed. The 99% were asleep while the social control structures were being set in place except maybe for the Oscar Wildes so they have a long haul ahead of them. Everyone in the world who has a job must be praying that the 99 percent will just go back to their homeless and hopeless roles of poverty designated to the lazy jobless ones in western social structures and leave the banks alone.

Action time for wall street

The escalation stage is reached in wall street action has started. The mayor tried to execute a clear the park order from wall street corporate bosses. The people resisted and have tasted victory. The next action is crucial. Whoever makes the next move controls the peaceful process. The protesters want negotiation since that is their forte while the authorities want violence because that is their forte.

Request UN support

The wall street movement should appeal to the UN under it's civilian protection plan. They should request that the UN impose a no fly zone over New York city and other cities in America where the authorities are suppressing free speech and citizen protests. The police have been violently attacking civilians and the UN should fund a French led coalition to stop the authoritarian brutality against it's civilian population. Maybe President Obama might not put any boots on the ground but finance the technology required to protect civilian lives from the violence of it's own government.

Wall street movement

The wall street protesters are calling themselves a movement. Take back wall street has spread to other cities like take back chicago. They realize they are steering a movement. But the have not yet called it a mass movement. They are in the negotiation phase. It would do them well to learn the course of a movement since movements do have characteristics. They are well advised to find strategists too. Trying to reach consensus in a society that has no clue about consensus and thrive on simple majority decisions need some educational leadership. The question that needs to be asked early on is do we want to allow events to unfold or do we want to control the unfolding events. The one needs a nurturing leadership while the other needs strategic leadership.

Masses on wall street

The masses are gathering on wall street. While the streets are looking more like the Arab spring is moving toward the united states fall the consciousness of the population is moving to comparing the Egyptian government to the united states government. Before it would be dismissed offhand that the us democratic system would be comparable to a dictatorship the consequences are very similar. The Egypt government disappointed young graduates in the jobmarket as does the us. The Egypt government shut down Facebook. Ditto us. Both arrested protectors. Both tried to ignore the protests. Both ran public campaigns to minimize protestors demands. Both governments had no answers. Both only had the military option in the end.

Mass movements need mass consciousness

Right now there are activists on wall street. They are creating a freedom square. They have the same tools as those in Africa and the middle east. Their Facebook and yahoo messages are shut down too. The pepper spray and teargas bullying are the same. But the consciousness is absent. The Americas are still in the mindset of power and might. Even those who suffer have not yet had a change of consciousness. Why else does the petty political bickering get tolerated? There is still a mindset that hate Washington and wall street but love them too because who else can save us? When the consciousness of the nation discover we the people are on our own then there might be some movement.

Plans

We all want better. We want better for ourselves we want better for our children. We even want better for our society. But all our criticisms and complaints don't amount to much unless we propose a plan. We need a plan to solve injustices. Complaints are not enough. We also need to organize but we can't organize if we do not have a plan. The plan needs a destination or end result so it works like a roadmap and a location. Without these basic tools we should not even think about taking the journey.

Change

Change is the driving force of mass movements. People can become compliant and accepting of injustice over a long period of time since individuals do feel powerless in isolated cases but as they share their experiences and observe growing injustice they do yearn for change. The initial yearning is not enough since the change from and the change to must become fully conscious in a large group mindset. It is not a cliche but it operates like a cliche. People can share the change from and change to in many different ways and also in one or two easily identifiable ways. They can have conversations about the change by completing one another's thoughts and sentences. This group consciousness provides the impetus for confidence in change that makes change a reality in consciousness. When this occurs the pump is primed. This is a condition that can exist for a number of ears or even decades. The precipitating incident is what all a waiting for without knowing they are waiting and without knowing ah at the incident will look like. When it comes the floodgates will open as is what happened in north Africa in 2011.
