OWS strategies

It is obvious that OWS have devised a number of strategies to show their force. The preparations for suffering police brutality and arrest are all part of these strategies as well as providing the 1% the least opportunities to criticize and draw wedges in the movement. But now is the time to turn inward and to flex muscles that cannot be challenged by police as easily. No doubt the police will continue the war and in fact increase their inhumanity and brutality. Unions and past movements have turned inward to their muscle well. Two types of actions will soon appear. The first is active change on a personal level. Individuals can bring down a sector by using another. Or by changing lifestyle. Bus boycotts worked effectively by walking greater distances, getting up early and returning later with the satisfaction that personal willpower has an economic effect. Moving money from banks to credit unions is such an OWS tactic. Once thousands of accounts move it will have an impact. Changing consumer habits to replace one item on the diet will have such an impact. Choosing strategic 99% choices can change society. Police and FBI agents will always harass but they cannot win against 99% solidarity. The tactics are endless but the pointedness is the icing on the cake. All the strategic thinkers have to do is decide who is responsible and how an act can show up that responsibility as clear as day. Then they can invent a new activity or pastime that people will enjoy. Have people do the activity openly like wearing a ribbon and engage happily in support of a simple goal and the wheels will be set in motion. The mechanism will be invisible but the pointedness will become apparent and will bring results which will provide confidence for more pointed recreational activities that produce results.
